(5) In a real situation, what is the advantage of using a hill to help with the lifting? Disadvantage?
The advantage to using the incline to help with lifting is that the man exerts less force. To the man, the box is easier to push up a hill than to lift vertically. However, using a hill decreases efficiency in a real situation because of the friction of the hill.
